Danny Goldman's desire to continue learning the solo clarinet repertoire led him to pianist Dr. Trevor Hale. After their first reading, they decided to invite Danny's colleague Grace Wollett (violin) to join in reading. They enjoyed the first rehearsal so much, they immediately scheduled the next and the next and...the rest is history!
Outside of Trio Kavanáh, Danny Goldman's recent chamber music performances include Brahms' Clarinet Quintet with The Amaryllis Quartet, Schoenbergs' Pierrot Lunaire with The New Fromm Players at Tanglewood Music Center, and Barber's Summer Music at The Basically Beethoven Festival. Danny is a member of The Dallas Opera Orchestra and is also its liaison to the Board of Directors. Other performances include The Philadelphia Orchestra, Cincinnati Symphony, Louisiana Philharmonic, Las Vegas Philharmonic, Louisville Orchestra, Pacific Music Festival Orchestra, and IRIS Orchestra.
Danny holds a Bachelor's Degree from The Juilliard School and a Master's Degree from Rice University. He also writes pop music and loves hanging out with his miniature dachshund, Oliver.
